A new season of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship means new looks and liveries for our teams. On the first day of testing, we take a look at the new liveries of NIO, Envision Virgin Racing and Venturi.
Breaking cover for the first time on track, Envision Virgin Racing's new 2019/20 season challenger features a new livery but stays true to it's purple, silver and red colour scheme. With Sam Bird and Robin Frijns remaining with the team for another season, the British squad will challenge for the title with the new Audi powertrain. As one of the only customer teams in the Championship, Envision will hope to hand it to the manufacturers this season.
With a new name for the 2019/20 season, NIO 333 FE Team revealed its new livery for the first time ahead of the testing session in Valencia this morning. Carrying the classic teal colour, the car now sports blue sidepods and the Chinese flag, representing the team's home country.
With Felipe Massa and Edoardo Mortara signed to the team for another season, Venturi's new challenger broke cover this morning, with a new look applied to its all-new Mercedes-Benz EQ developed powertrain. Now a customer team of Mercedes, the outfit will challenge go up against 11 other teams and ten manufacturers in the battle for its first championship title.
