The ABB FIA Formula E Championship returns to Mexico City for the fifth time in the series' history. We're talking plenty of sun, all the off-track entertainment and a healthy dose of wheel-to-wheel combat as 24 cars and drivers battle for the win in front of the legendary Foro Sol. Mexico City, here we come.
Created for the arrival of Formula E in 2016, the street course makes use of the legendary Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit. With race-ready surface and long corners, Mexico City is not only one of the fastest tracks in the Formula E calendar, it's also the highest at 2500m above sea level.
With a mix of long and fast straights and a technical stadium section, the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit is a true spectacle on the race calendar.
Starting on the traditional start/finish straight, the Formula E grid will hurtle down into turn one - home to some brave out-braking maneuverers. Following a series of turns and a fast straight, the pack will then hit the iconic Foro Sol stadium, where the fans will be treated to more chaotic Formula E moments. Leaving the stadium the drivers will then jostle on the long swooping run to the finish line. Get prepared for some more sensational scenes in the sun.
